I figured, since it is highly likely that I will post reviews based on some of the texts and books and stuff I read for class, I would blog about some of the material that you might be seeing in the near future.  I’ll go ahead and break it down according to class and I’ll list the class as well, so that way it is easier for everyone to find what they’re looking for or know what type of class the texts are coming from. Well, it has come and closed (for me anyway), the first week of classes.  I must admit that the first day of classes, the first week, the first homework assignments, and all the other firsts of the school year always stress me out excessively.  And this is what I blame my lack of presence at Lit Bit on.  (more…)

Last year on August 17th I learned that my Dad’s mom, my grandmother Carmen had passed away. She was 83 years old and had lived a good long life. Her death was a bit of a shock, because we figured she still had a few more years left, but in the end, we came to terms with her passing, knowing that she would no longer suffer with her diabetes and constantly deteriating eyesight.

I give up on trying to post poetry through wordpress…..it’s a pain, and I don’t think I have the dedication to purchase a domain and web hosting to have my own site where I can do whatever I want. As a result of this…for the time being….I will continue to use, that oh so hated site, by oh so many people, deviant art. And as a matter of fact I’ve just finished posting four new poems on my dA account. Check it out if you’d like, but of course that is optional and understandable…. not that I’m not having compatability issues with them either….it’s all a jumbled mess and my jumbled brain is too tired to sift through everything and come up with a clever solution. So we all must deal or not, as you choose.

Today was the last day of the last of my stuff, that I had ordered, to come in and I just found out that my new Apple Keyboard just got delivered and that was the only thing I was waiting for.  Unfortunately I’m at work, so I won’t get to try it out right away, but I suppose I can be patient….maybe…I’ll try….I don’t really have a choice.  But I am glad to see all my goodies safely delivered and at home.  Can’t wait to hook up that keyboard….
